Normally open direct control solenoid valves
Normally open 2-way solenoid valves with direct control
Main components: body with main orifice, quill assembly + movable core + rod + seal holder assembly (kit normally open), coil.
The normally open 2-way solenoid valves with direct control have an inlet fitting and a fitting for use. By moving the rod through the rod, the movable core opens and closes the solenoid valve. When the coil is not powered, the seal holder, under the action of a spring, is kept in a position such that the orifice is open, allowing the passage of the fluid.
When, on the other hand, the coil is powered, the mobile core moves downwards and, through the dipstick, pushes the gaskets in a position such as to close the orifice, not allowing the passage of the fluid.
In this family of solenoid valves, an increase in pressure causes an increase in the force required to open the valve: if the difference in pressure between the supply and use is greater than the maximum value for which it was designed the solenoid valve, the latter may not reopen even with the coil de-energized.
