the polarized electromagnet is a valid solution for all those applications where energy absorption or electromagnet heating, even very limited, are not tolerated. The bistable command has the advantage of requiring energy only in the switching phase: this is possible thanks to the presence of a permanent magnet inserted inside the coil, which performs a combined action with the magnetic field induced by the electric winding. The duration of the impulse necessary to generate the change of state is a few hundredths of a second, while the polarity of the power supply determines the opening or closing of the valve. The very limited energy absorption of these products makes them particularly suitable when using battery power. The heating of the electromagnet is almost zero as a consequence of the low energy absorbed.
